IV therapy is a delivery method for fluids and medication. IV stands for intravenous, which means it’s administered through the veins. The fluid that contains vitamins and nutrients is delivered via an IV drip or injection into the vein.

Unlike with Oral vitamins where a proportion of the vitamin is lost during digestion and it can take weeks, even months to feel the benefits, an IV drip delivers these essential nutrients and fluids directly into your bloodstream, bypassing your digestive tract. There is no wait time, and the nutrition is instantly available to remedy your body’s health and wellness needs. And the effects can be seen as quickly as 1 to 2 days after.

Youthify IV Vitamin Process

In total, an IV drip takes around 30 to 45 minutes for a complete therapy session. This includes completing a few forms prior to your infusion as well as a quick health assessment.

  • Our Practitioner will assess your veins and take your blood pressure
  • Once the assessment, consent process and any questions you may have are addressed answered they will place a small, thin plastic tube called a cannula directly into your vein using a needle
  • The cannula remains inside you after the needle is removed to deliver your IV infusion
  • The cannula is attached to a bag, which contains your selected drip
  • Once completed the cannula is removed and you can continue your day as normal – no down time is required!
What are the benefits of IV Vitamin Drip Therapy?

Intravenous (IV) vitamin drip therapy involves delivering vitamins, minerals, and other nutrients directly into the bloodstream through an IV infusion. Advocates of IV vitamin therapy claim various benefits, but it's important to note that the scientific evidence supporting these claims is often limited, and individual responses may vary. Some perceived benefits that are commonly suggested include:

Increased Energy Levels: Supporters of IV vitamin therapy often claim that the infusion of vitamins and minerals can provide a quick energy boost, potentially helping those who are fatigued or feeling run down.

Improved Hydration: IV therapy can contribute to better hydration by delivering fluids directly into the bloodstream. This can be particularly beneficial for individuals who may have difficulty absorbing fluids through the digestive system.

Enhanced Nutrient Absorption: By bypassing the digestive system, IV therapy may provide a more efficient way to deliver nutrients to the body. This can be especially relevant for individuals with malabsorption issues or digestive disorders.

Immune System Support: Certain vitamins and minerals, such as vitamin C and zinc, are believed to support the immune system. IV vitamin therapy proponents suggest that infusions can help strengthen the immune response.

Hangover Relief: Some individuals use IV vitamin therapy as a remedy for hangovers, claiming that the infusion of fluids and nutrients can alleviate symptoms such as dehydration and fatigue.
